A Message from Mr. Hogbin

Dear families,

Welcome back to school, and welcome to our final term for the year!

I hope all families had the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy some time together over the past two weeks. We are now ready for another eleven weeks of learning, growing and working together as a community at St Francis Xavier School.

As always, there is much planned for Term Four. Our teachers have carefully planned the weeks ahead to ensure that every day counts for every child. This is the term when we see the hard work of the previous three terms come together, as students build on their learning, consolidate their knowledge and continue to grow in confidence and capability.

This is why regular attendance is so important. Every day provides an opportunity to learn, connect, participate and grow. Every day counts!

I wish all members of our school community a wonderful Term Four. As always, I encourage you to keep up to date with what is happening at school through our weekly newsletter so that you can stay informed about the many events and activities planned for the weeks ahead.

Before we know it, we will be thinking about Christmas—but thankfully, that is still a little way off!

Let’s make the most of every day and enjoy a terrific final term together.

God bless,

Mercy Mass

Mercy Mass

As is our tradition, we like to begin each term with Mass when we ask for God to bless our learning and our community. In fourth term we like to focus on our Mercy story; our traditions; our charism, and our story. Please feel welcome to join us at St. Alipius church on Friday 9 October at 9.30am for our special Mercy Mass.

Safety when approaching or leaving our school

Safety when approaching or leaving our school

Please be mindful that we have many young children entering and exiting our school at peak times during the day. By adhering to the road rules and by parking mindfully around our school you can help to keep all visitors, including our children, safe. When turning your vehicle, we ask that all drivers veer to the left and turn at the tree marked with the large white X to avoid crossing over double lines.
